Robert Vadra Gets Relief from Delhi Court

Robert Vadra, the husband of Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, was given a big relief by the special court of Rouse Avenue in Delhi on Friday. Hearing Vadra's plea, the court allowed him to go abroad.

The Enforcement Directorate protested against Robert Vadra seeking permission to go abroad on anticipatory bail in the money laundering case. On Thursday in the special court of Rouse Avenue, the ED had said that Vadra could go abroad and influence the investigation and destroy the evidence.

During the hearing, lawyers appearing for Vadra had told the court that the opposition of the investigating agency is wrong and wrong allegations are being made. The application filed on behalf of Vadra said that he had to go to Spain. He wants permission  to go abroad from 21 September to 8 October in connection with their business.

Vadra has already gone to the US and Netherlands for treatment with the permission of the court, but he was not allowed to go to London as the ED is investigating the property purchase in London itself.
