The woman claimed that she had been transferred several times after the alleged incident and in connection with the investigation initiated against him for questioning senior officials' decisions about changing their posting and without taking leave on December 21, 2018, He was suspended from service.
In response to the allegations of the woman, CJI Gogoi had said: "It is incredible, there is great power behind it." An officer of Crime Branch had earlier told that the woman's husband and brother-in-law were facing departmental interrogation. The crime branch official had said that a joint investigation was ordered against both of them and they were suspended on December 28, 2018.
