Rajasthan: Satish Poonia forgot the Name of Dhriyavad BJP Candidate
With the date of voting for the assembly by-elections being held in two seats nearing, political excitement has started increasing. Congress has got a chance to take a dig at BJP after a video surfaced of BJP state president Satish Poonia slipping in the middle of the by-elections. This video is being shared a lot on social media. In the video, Satish Poonia is claiming victory from Dhariyavad by claiming Kanhaiyalal Meena as a BJP candidate, whereas Fateh Singh Meena is a BJP candidate from here.
Satish Poonia had recently gone on an election tour of Dhariyavad and Vallabhnagar. This is the video of him interacting with the media at the same time. In the video, Poonia is saying that the people of Dhariyavad are standing in full support of Kanhaiyalal Meena and we will win with full force. In this video, Congress supporters are trolling Satish Poonia on social media.
BJP celebrated by making Kanhaiyalal a state minister
Kanhaiyalal Meena, son of late MLA Gautamlal Meena, was a contender for the ticket in Dhariyavad. The party nominated Khet Singh Meena, a supporter of Leader of Opposition Gulabchand Kataria, in place of MLA's son. Kanhaiyalal Meena rebelled and filled the independent form. BJP persuaded Kanhaiyalal to do damage control, after which the nomination was withdrawn. The BJP had given Kanhaiyalal the post of state minister immediately.
Congress to take a dig at Bhartiya Janata Party
After Satish Poonia's video surfaced, Congress has got a chance to take a dig at Bhartiya Janata Party state president. Congress supporters are fiercely sharing Poonia's video on social media. Earlier, videos of Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara slipping his tongue had surfaced.
