The change in weather in Rajasthan from November 17 has increased the winter. More than 15 places in Udaipur, Kota, Sirohi, Rajsamand, Baran districts received one to four and a half inches of rain during the last 24 hours. The highest rainfall was recorded at 102mm (4 inches) in Salumbar in the Udaipur district, which is the record for the highest rainfall in November in the last 11 years.

Meteorological Department issues rain alert

Due to rain in Udaipur, 3 flights have been cancelled from the airport. The maximum temperature of the day has dropped by more than 10 degrees Celsius. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Department, this condition of rain and weather will continue even on November 20. There will be a rain alert here.

If we look at the report received from Jaipur Meteorological Department, 37 areas of Udaipur, Dungarpur, Chittorgarh, Kota, Baran, Rajsamand, Sirohi districts have received rainfall ranging from 24 to 102 mm. This period of rain continues in these districts even today. It is raining intermittently since morning in many districts including Rajsamand, Udaipur, Chittorgarh. On the other hand, in the Udaipur division, people have not even got to see the sun for the last two days. The same situation is present in the districts of Jaipur, Ajmer and Kota divisions as well.

Drop in temperature

Due to this change of weather, there has been a big drop in the maximum temperature of the day by more than 10 degrees Celsius. The maximum drop occurred in Chittorgarh district, where the day's maximum temperature reached 16 degrees Celsius from 26 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Chittorgarh last night was 15 degrees Celsius, while yesterday's day temperature was 16 degrees Celsius. The temperature fluctuated only by one degree Celsius throughout the day. At the same time, in Bhilwara, Udaipur, Dungarpur also the maximum temperature of the day went below 20 degrees Celsius.

Jaipur Meteorological Center Director Radheshyam Sharma said that due to the system formed in the Arabian Sea and near a western disturbance, this change has been seen in the weather. He told that this effect of the weather will remain till November 20. From November 21, the weather will start clearing up and the sun will come out. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, fog will remain in the districts of Udaipur, Kota, Bharatpur and Ajmer divisions from November 21.
