After Home Minister Amit Shah, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra, Twitter has now taken action against social activist and lawyer Prashant Bhushan. The microblogging site described Prashant Bhushan's tweet on vaccination as misleading and blocked his account for 12 hours.
Bhushan had made a tweet at 6.20 pm on Monday. It was said that many people attacked me verbally because of my views on the Covid vaccine. I am presenting some documents. For these reasons, I have confused about the vaccine. In addition to the vaccine not being tested and the dire consequences, I am also concerned about my views being censored.
Twitter not only put the missleading logo on Prashant Bhushan's tweet but also generated a link there. On clicking it, the information related to the vaccine comes in front of the user. It explains why health experts have declared the vaccine safe for most people.
Twitter blocked Prashant Bhushan for 12 hours. Prashant Bhushan made another tweet at 10.42 am on Tuesday after the block opened. In this he said, 'So Twitter has called my tweet misleading. I had told in that tweet with evidence why I have doubts about the vaccine. Even after this I was blocked for 12 hours. I had said earlier also that there is a tie-up between pharma and IT companies. Both carry a narrative. This has been proved by the action of Twitter.
