Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with health workers and beneficiaries of the Covid Vaccination Program in Himachal Pradesh through video conferencing. Governor, Chief Minister, JP Nadda, Anurag Singh Thakur, MPs, MLAs, Panchayat leaders. Other people were also present on this occasion. PM Modi said that Himachal Pradesh has emerged as a champion in the fight against the biggest epidemic of 100 years. Himachal has become the first state in India. Which has administered at least one dose of corona vaccine to its entire population.

The Prime Minister said that the people of Himachal did not allow any rumor, any propaganda to survive. This state is a testament to how the country's rural society is strengthening the world's largest and fastest vaccination campaign. He said that I am happy that even inaccessible district like Lahaul-Spiti has been ahead in giving 100% first dose in Himachal. This is the area, which was cut off from the rest of the country for months and months before the Atal Tunnel was built.

Modi said – tourism is also getting direct benefit of connectivity

PM Modi said, "Tourism is also getting the direct benefit of the strengthened connectivity. Farmers and gardeners who produce fruits and vegetables are also getting it. By reaching village-village internet, the youth of Himachal, their culture, is getting affected. Govt. is able to reach the new possibilities of tourism to the country and abroad. Recently the country has taken another decision, which I especially want to tell the people of Himachal. This is the change in the rules related to drone technology. Now Its rules have been made very easy. This will open new possibilities in Himachal in many sectors like health to agriculture.

PM asked- Can we make efforts to make agriculture organic?

Narendra Modi said that the central government is now going to create a special online platform for sisters' NGOs. Through this medium, our sisters will be able to sell their products in the country and the world. The sisters of Himachal will be able to deliver apples, oranges, tangerines, mushrooms, tomatoes, many such products to every nook and corner of the country. He said that I would like to make one more request to the farmers and gardeners of Himachal during the nectar of independence. In the coming 25 years, can we make efforts to make agriculture organic again in the state? Gradually we have to free our soil from chemicals.

The PM said that today India is making a record by administering 1.25 crore vaccines in a day. The number of vaccines the country is administering in a day today is more than the entire population of many countries. The success of India's vaccination campaign is the result of the hard work of every Indian. He said that I saw doctors, nurses, and health workers working together as a team to take the vaccination program forward. We should not show any laxity in completing the vaccination campaign.
