PM Narendra Modi will hold a meeting with the Chief Ministers of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Odisha, Maharashtra, and Kerala on July 16 at 11 am. In this meeting, they will discuss the current situation of Corona. PM Modi discussed the situation of Corona in the northeastern states today i.e. on Tuesday. It was attended by the Chief Ministers of Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Tripura, and Nagaland. During this, PM Modi expressed concern over a possible third wave. He said that it is not right to gather huge crowds without masks and protocols in hill stations, markets. This is a matter of concern for us.
The PM said, "Corona is deaf, we have to keep an eye on every variant of coronavirus as well. Experts are constantly studying how disturbing it will be after the mutation. In such a situation, prevention and timely treatment are very important.
As soon as there was corona infection in the country, PM Modi said, "It is true that tourism, business, and business have been greatly affected due to corona. But today I will say very strongly that in hill stations, in the market". Without wearing a mask, it is not okay to gather in a huge crowd. It is very important to be vigilant."
Prime Minister Modi said that the 'Vaccine-Free Vaccine' campaign run by the Central Government is equally important in the Northeast. At the same time, the PM appealed to the Chief Ministers that to fight the third wave, we have to keep speeding up the process of vaccination.
