PDP Delegation’s Meeting with Mehbooba Mufti Cancelled

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has canceled today's meeting with Mehbooba Mufti. Mehbooba Mufti is currently in custody and a 10-member PDP delegation was about to leave to meet her, but the meeting has been cancelled.

PDP leader Firdaus Tak gave this information on Twitter. He wrote- 'PDP Jammu has decided to postpone the scheduled program of its leaders to meet party president Mehbooba Mufti'. The meeting was announced on Sunday. A 15-member delegation of the National Conference met party chief Farooq Abdullah and leader Omar Abdullah on Sunday.

Earlier PDP leader Firdaus Tak had said, 'We requested the Governor to allow us to meet his party chief Mehbooba Mufti. Our request was accepted. We will discuss the current situation and every other issue related to Jammu and Kashmir with the Mufti. It has been two months and other party leaders have been placed under house arrest.

Two months ago, after the central government decided to cancel the special status given to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370, the communication services in the area were banned and many leaders were under house arrest. Farooq Abdullah, his son Omar Abdullah and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti.
