Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reached the camp organized under the 'Administration Villages Ke Sang Abhiyan' in Nimbola Bishwa Panchayat of Nagaur district on Friday. State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara, Assembly Speaker C.P. Joshi, state in-charge Ajay Maken and district in-charge Harish Chaudhary were also present, but during this time 5 out of 6 Congress MLAs of the district were absent.
Ladnu MLA Mukesh Bhakar, Didwana MLA Chetan Dudi, Jayal MLA Manju Meghwal, Parbatsar MLA Ram Niwas Gavadia, and Nawan MLA Mahendra Chaudhary did not attend the event. Amidst the ongoing turmoil in the state Congress, 5 out of 6 MLAs not coming to CM Ashok Gehlot's program remains a matter of discussion. However, it is being told that most of the MLAs were not informed officially of this program. One MLA told that he got information about this program only from social media.
Didwana MLA Chetan Dudi said that on the instructions of the party. Also, he is constantly engaged in the by-elections to the Vallabhnagar assembly. So he got the information through social media only a day ago late in the evening. I was busy with my election duty. However, I was not given any official information or instructions to attend the program from CMO or anywhere.
District President Zakir Hussain Gasawat said that most of the MLAs have been engaged in the duty of campaigning for the by-polls. However, A few MLAs were in the Jaipur meetings. So apart from this, there were instructions to benefit the public in the camps. Organized in their respective areas by not inviting any MLA to the program from the CMO and party level. Local Degana MLA Vijaypal Mirdha had also not called anyone at his level due to the government program.
