The central government will hold talks with all the regional parties of Jammu and Kashmir on June 24 this month. In this, there is a discussion about calling 14 leaders of the state. According to information received from sources, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti will not attend the all-party meeting. The PDP has decided that National Conference chief Farooq Abdullah, heading the PAGD (People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration), will attend the meeting.
PDP spokesperson Suhail Bukhari said that the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) met today before the all-party meeting in Delhi. In this, all the members have decided that Mehbooba Mufti will take the final decision in this regard. He told a meeting of the People's Alliance for the Gupkar Declaration is in two days.
This matter will be discussed there also. On Saturday, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had said that she had received a call regarding this meeting. The formal invitation is not received. She said that I will hold a PAC meeting tomorrow to discuss the same and decide whether to attend the meeting or not.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the chairperson of this meeting. In which Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other central leaders will be there. CPI(M) leader and spokesperson of the People's Alliance for the Gupkar Declaration were asked about this meeting. MY Tarigami said, "We have not been told anything about this from the government."
However, if something like this happens, it would be welcome. "We have never closed our doors for a meaningful dialogue with the Centre," Tarigami said. The National Conference and the PDP were formed after the abrogation of special status to Jammu and Kashmir and making it a union territory.
