Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Gets Angry Says Do Not Touch My Staff

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has warned the members of opposition parties who are performing in the House that do not hand over my staff. While sloganeering, the Congress, Trinamool Congress and the DMK members came in front of the speaker to the place where parliamentary employees sit. Speaker warned, do not touch my staff.

In fact, the speaker had refused to discuss the current political situation in Karnataka. After this, the Congress, Trinamool and DMK MPs started performing in Well during Question Hour. They asked the MPs who were performing, asked to go to their seats and continue the question period, but despite this opposition MPs remained firm on the opposition and we should seek justice, not dictatorship – like sloganeering.

Speaker said that all the members had decided that the issues of the state can not be raised in the House. This is a matter related to the state and it is related to the constitutional post, so all the members sit on the seat so all the members sit on the seat. If MPs continued to protest even after the Speaker explained, they expressed resentment.

According to Preet, Lok Sabha Speaker told Trinamool Congress leader Sudip Bandopadhyay that he would not market the Bengal government in the House. The Trinamool leader praised the state's health policy and said that the health policy introduced by the Mamta Banerjee government is good with the Ayushman Bharat Scheme of the Government of India.

Despite the refusal, the speaker had to say, 'You do not do marketing of West Bengal.' After this, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that like some Bengal states, some states have implemented their health policy here, but they have a lot of flaws. He expressed hope that Delhi, Telangana and Odisha which are not connected to the Ayushman Bharat Scheme will soon be linked to this scheme.
