The winter session of Parliament is going to start from 18 November. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has called an all-party meeting of leaders of various parties on 16 November to make this session a success and to discuss other important issues. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi has called an all-party meeting on 17 November.

Apart from this, a senior official of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat told that Naidu will meet with the leaders of all parties at the Vice President's residence on Sunday evening before the 250th session of the Upper House begins on the next Monday (November 18). Describing the session as historic, he said that the meeting will also consider the outline of the 70th Constitution Day to be held on 26 November and 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi during the session.

In the 249th session of Parliament, the previous session was the most successful in terms of performance as the meetings of the two houses were generally concluded without any deadlock. This winter season will run from November 18 to December 13. Describing this meeting as important, the official said that in it, an action plan will be set to make the upcoming session work in the same manner as the previous session.
