During the lockdown due to Corona infection in the country, the exemption has been given to the state with a long running industry.  Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana has indicated this during video conferencing with entrepreneurs from Varanasi as well as other cities.

The Yogi Adityanath government has made changes due to the lockdown in the UP Labor Acts.  These changes will remain in effect for three years.  In the departmental review, the Minister of Industrial Development assured the 38 rules to be ineffective for three years.  The government has given great relief to the business class by changing the UP Labor Acts.  Large-scale factories and industries are closed due to the lockdown.  Now lakhs of migrant laborers are coming back to the state.  Nobody knows how long the Corona crisis will last.

The period for starting industries in Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority areas can be increased from one year to three months now.  In a video conference with Varanasi's Ramnagar Industrial Association on Thursday, Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana said to consider this point.  While communicating online, Mahana told the entrepreneurs that Saathi Portal has been launched for the convenience of entrepreneurs.  This will provide all types of facilities including GST refund.

Temporary exemption has been provided in the labor laws for industries, factories and business establishments in the state for 38 thousand days i.e. up to three years.  Industrial Development Minister Satish Mahana said that Saathi Portal has been launched for the convenience of entrepreneurs in the state.  This will provide all kinds of facilities including GST refund to the entrepreneur.  Apart from this, for starting the industry in UPSIDC, it will be considered to extend the period of one year to three months.
