The Indian Medical Association (IMA) was seeking permission for all applications to start emergency services during the lockdown.  Approximately two hundred and fifty hospitals applied.  The Health Department had granted permission to only 110 hospitals, which were granted permission, after scrutiny of those hospitals, their permission was being revoked after getting some deficiencies.  The IMA was also opposed.  Now the way has been cleared for the opening of all the hospitals after the instructions of the Chief Minister.
