Chhattisgarh government may constitute a new judicial inquiry commission to investigate the Jhiram Valley attack. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has indicated this. He said the commission had requested for extension of time. The report may be incomplete. After considering this, a decision will be taken soon. Before leaving for Durg, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said in a discussion with the press at Raipur airport that the tenure of the commission was over. He said that the report is still incomplete. In such a situation, a decision will be taken after considering it.

Commission has submitted its report

The Chief Minister said it will be decided very soon. Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra Judicial Inquiry Commission has submitted its report to Governor Anusuiya Uikey on November 6. Contrary to the usual tradition, there has been an increase in the displeasure between the government and Congress over the report being submitted to the governor instead of the state government.

Meanwhile, Justice Prashant Mishra was transferred as the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. The government was still taking the opinion of the law department on this, what is the option to complete the incomplete investigation after the transfer of the judge. Even before the decision was taken, it was learned that the report of the commission was submitted to the Governor. It is believed that after seeing the report of the commission, the government will take its decision. At present, this report is still in the Raj Bhavan.

Congress had demanded a new commission

The demand for a new commission was raised by Congress to investigate the Jhiram Valley incident. State Congress Communication Department President Sushil Anand Shukla first raised its demand. Later state president Mohan Markam and other leaders raised this point. It was said, the Congress party demands from the state government that a mega judicial inquiry commission should be constituted and a fresh inquiry should be conducted into the Jhiram conspiracy. Congress leaders said the people of the state want to see the conspirators of this case exposed.

Report submitted to the Governor on October 6, since then there has been a ruckus

The Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra judicial inquiry commission probing the Jhiram Valley attack submitted the inquiry report to Governor Anusuiya Uikey on the evening of 6 October. Santosh Kumar Tiwari, the secretary of the Jhiram murder investigation commission and the registrar of the Chhattisgarh High Court, had reached the Raj Bhavan with this report. Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra is currently the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court. It is being told, this report was finalized even before his departure from Bilaspur. This report has been prepared in 10 volumes and 4 thousand 184 pages.

On May 25, 2013, 29 people were killed in a Naxalite attack in Jhiram Valley on Congress's Parivartan Yatra. It also included names like the then state president of Congress Nand Kumar Patel, his son Dinesh Patel, veteran leaders Mahendra Karma, Uday Mudaliar. Former Union Minister Vidyacharan Shukla was seriously injured in this attack. Who later died during treatment. It is believed that this was the biggest attack on any political party in the country.
