IPL 2021: MS Dhoni-Led CSK Departs for UAE

The Chennai Super Kings team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni left for Dubai on Friday for the remaining matches of IPL 2021 to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 19 September. Giving information about this on Twitter, CSK shared a picture of Dhoni, in which the former India captain can be seen with his suitcase.

After retiring from international cricket on August 15, 2020, Dhoni now plays only in the IPL and will be seen playing again in the league from September 19. The first match is to be played between Mumbai Indians and Chennai. The Mumbai team left for UAE this morning too.

MI to take on CSK on September 19:

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians shared a picture on Twitter. The team was training at Reliance Corporate Park in Ghansoli. According to sources, the Mumbai domestic players were training for the last two weeks after being in quarantine. The final match of the league stage will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) on 8 October. The final of the tournament will be played on October 15. Let us tell you that due to Coronavirus infection, the 14th edition of IPL had to be postponed in midway.

On the other hand, the BCCI introduced a new rule for this season. The use of saliva will continue to be banned from the remaining season as well. If a player violates the rule he will receive a warning from the on-field umpires. BCCI does not want to take any risk with the players this time. The IPL 2021 Phase 2 will start from 19th September and will end on 15th October. Meanwhile, MI and CSK will face each other in the first match. Meanwhile, the final game of the league stage will take place between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals on October 8.
