The accident happened in Kali Khan area of ​​Shillai subdivision Himachal. National Highway 707 connecting Shillai to Paonta Sahib is the main road connecting Chandigarh to Dehradun. Meanwhile, 3 climbers have gone missing in Lahaul-Spiti district. State Disaster Management Director Sudesh Kumar Mokhta said that Rajasthan's mountaineer Nikunj Jaiswal and his two companions have gone missing on the Ghepan mountain.

According to the information received by Sisu police station outpost, Jaiswal, a resident of Bikaner, Rajasthan, and his two companions were staying at Hotel Triveni in the village. They said that they had set out on Monday to climb Mount Ghepan and were to return on July 29. However they did not return. The search is on for the missing climbers.

At the same time, rain has wreaked havoc on the ongoing Sivok-Rangpo rail project in Mamkhola, Sikkim. Here many laborers working in the tunnel got trapped due to the landslide with the rain, while 8 laborers were also washed away in the heavy rain. A worker died. The relief and rescue work is going on fast on the information.

On the information of the accident, the local people rescued 3 laborers and admitted them to the nearby hospital. Where his condition remains critical. The worker who died in the accident has been identified. He is a resident of Nepal.

Heavy rain likely till August 1

According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the eastern, western and central parts of the country till August 1. Apart from this, a red alert has been issued for heavy rain in many areas including Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand on Friday. There is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir today.

Orange alert in 15 districts of MP

IMD has predicted heavy rain and lightning in 15 districts of Madhya Pradesh in the next 24 hours. Orange alert has been issued in these districts. These include Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Datia, Shivpuri, Anuppur, Dindori, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Balaghat and Mandla. In these districts, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain at isolated places in the next 24 hours.

Yellow alert in Uttarakhand on 31st and 1st August

IMD has also predicted rain in Uttarakhand till August 2. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Tehri, Pauri, Nainital, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh districts on Friday. In view of this, an orange alert has been issued. A yellow alert has been issued for Dehradun, Nainital, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh for Saturday and Sunday.

Red alert of rain in 3 districts of Rajasthan

Red alert has been issued for Nagaur, Sikar and Bharatpur in Rajasthan. There is a possibility of heavy rain here today. Apart from this, heavy rain may also occur in Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Tonk, Bhilwara, Kota, Jhalawar, Baran and Churu. IMD has issued an orange alert for these districts.
