Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar will meet Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi today to discuss the possibility of forming a government by tying up with the Shiv Sena in Maharashtra. It is believed that in Sonia Gandhi and Sharad Pawar's meeting, concrete decisions are likely to be taken in Maharashtra.

At the same time, Congress and NCP leaders will also meet. It will include Mallikarjun Kharge, Ahmed Patel, KC Venugopal from the Congress side, some senior party leaders of the state and NCP's Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare, Ajit Pawar, Jayant Patil.

Meanwhile, a big statement has come from Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. If the largest party in the state is not able to form the BJP government then it becomes the responsibility of any other party to form the government. Taking on Pawar's proposed meeting with PM, Sanjay Raut said that 'no khichdi' cooks every time he meets PM. On forming the government in Maharashtra, Sanjay Raut said that all obstacles are over, everything will be cleared by tomorrow afternoon. He said that the process of forming a government will be completed in the next 5-6 days. A popular and strong government will be formed in Maharashtra before December. The process is in progress.
