Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi is in a coma. His condition is currently very critical.  The news agency ANI has quoted this information from Sri Narayana Hospital in Raipur.  According to the information, former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi is in Coma, his condition is critical.  Giving further information about his health, the hospital has said that in the next 48 hours it will be ascertained how his body is reacting to the drugs.  At present, Ajit Jogi's condition is critical.

Earlier, Ajit Jogi's health suddenly worsened at around 12:30 pm on Saturday (May 9).  He suffered a sudden heart attack, after which he was admitted to a private hospital in Raipur in critical condition.  According to the medical bulletin, Jogi ate Ganga tamarind (wild fruit) at his government residence in the afternoon, after which he suffered a heart attack, later he fainted.  The doctors removed the seeds from his windpipe after treatment.

Dr. Sunil Khemka, Medical Director of Narayana Hospital had told that Ajit Jogi is currently on ventilator.  The next 48 to 72 hours are very important for him.  Medical examination has also found Ajit Jogi's brain swollen, but his heart rate is normal.  Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel discussed the phone with Amit Jogi, son of Ajit Jogi, about his father's health.

Significantly, Ajit Jogi has been on a wheel chair for many years since he was seriously injured in a road accident.  During this time, he has also had many health problems.  Recently, he was also hospitalized for a long time.
