Former AP CM Naidu Tagged Photos of ASHA Activists with his Tweet on 8 August.

A photo was posted on Social media Embarrassing tech-savvy N Chandrababu Naidu without defying his authenticity as trolls forced him to delete his tweet.

The former Andhra Pradesh chief minister tagged two photographs of Recognized social health activist (ASHA) activists with his tweet on 8 August. One photo shows that ASHA worker Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy while in the second picture, he was shown a 'mocking joke' of the government to express his opposition.

The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief commented in Telugu that this happens when someone fails to speak. He was promising an increase in the salary of Asha workers from Rs 3,000 to Rs 10,000 by Jagan Reddy.

However, the protest was photographed in 2015 and that too from the neighboring state of Telangana.

Netizens, mostly followers of the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), started trolling them for posting a fake photo. The Leader of the Opposition deleted the tweet on Saturday.

However, the YSRCP reprimanded Naidu for what he called a spreading canal against the government. YSRCP spokesman Ambati Rambabu said Naidu's tweet on ASHA workers was removed with two separate references and timelines.

He said Naidu's remarks were unheard because the government had already increased the salaries of ASHA workers.

The YSRCP also commented on Naidu saying that people rejected the TDP, which was a milch cow for him. Rambabu said that the huge mandate for the YSRCP proved whether the TDP government was a milch cow or a blood-sucking leech.
