According to the Union Health Ministry, 37,148 new cases of coronavirus have been registered across the country in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Monday to 8 am Tuesday, due to which the total number of coronavirus cases has increased to 11, 55,191. On Monday, more than 40 thousand cases of coronavirus were recorded across the country.
Due to the increasing infection spread of coronavirus, the number of people who are losing their lives in the country has also increased. During the last 24 hours, 587 people have died due to coronavirus across the country. A total of 28,084 people have died due to this virus so far. The increasing number of deaths continues to cause further concern.
However, the numbers of people recovering from the coronavirus in the country are also increasing rapidly. During the last 24 hours, 24,491 people have been cured by coronavirus across the country. Till date 7, 24,577 people have been cured in this country.
There is continuous testing going on for the identification of corona patients in the country and India is the highest testing country in the world after USA and Russia. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), more than 3.33 lakh corona tests have been conducted in the country on Monday and a total of more than 1.43 crore tests have been done in the country so far.
Globally, the number of cases of coronavirus has increased to over 1.48 crore. So far more than 6.13 lakh people have died due to coronavirus worldwide. However, more than 89.07 lakh people have been cured of coronavirus all over the world. The highest number of cases of coronavirus in the world are in the US. Where more than 39.61 lakh cases have been reported and more than 1.43 lakh people have died. Followed by more than 21.21 lakh cases in Brazil and more than 80 thousand deaths. In Russia too, more than 7.77 lakh cases have been reported and more than 12 thousand people have lost their lives.
