Many state governments are battling water crisis amidst monsoon wait. Things have become so bad that in the coming years, there will be a shortage of groundwater in many states of the country.

In such a situation, the central government is going to launch a campaign for water conservation. Union Water Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will launch a hydroelectric campaign today about the water crisis.

The aim of the government is to spread awareness amongst the people about the problem of water under this campaign.

More than 250 officers, including additional and joint secretaries, have been appointed as in-charge in the districts battling water problem in the country so that they can be planned for the conservation of natural resources.

Let us say that in the matter of mind on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed to run an awareness campaign about water problem like cleanliness campaign. During this time, he made three appeals related to water conservation related to the countrymen.

PM Modi appealed to the traditional way of water conservation and the people involved in this work, to share information with NGOs so that a database can be prepared. He said that only 8 percent of rainwater in our country is preserved. PM Modi urged the people to gather the entire country and promote the campaign of water conservation.
