A grenade attack took place in Pathankot, Punjab in the early hours of Monday. The attack was carried out near the Triveni Dwar gate of Army Cantt near Dheera bridge. After this attack, security has been increased in the Cantt area. There has been blockade everywhere. The checking operation has been intensified. It is being told that two persons who carried out the blast had come by bike. Police and security forces have started their search.
Panic spread in the surrounding area due to loud sounds. Security forces reached the spot. Although no one was hurt in this attack, the police and security agencies have come on high alert. The police force reached the spot and started scanning the CCTV footage of the area.
According to the officials, this grenade blast is a big attack because the army and security are tight in the Army Cantt area, in such a situation someone blasts the grenade there and runs away from there. After the blast, an alert has been issued on all the police stations of Pathankot and Punjab. The search operation is also going on.
