Bengal Government Not Allowing Migrants Trains to Enter the State

There is a lot of conflict between the Central Government and the West Bengal Government on many issues. Now both have come face to face with the migrant laborers.  Today, Home Minister Amit Shah wrote a letter to Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.  Home Minister Amit Shah has said that the Mamta government is not helping the Center in getting the migrant laborers home by train. In this regard, Shah has written a letter to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, saying that the Bengal government should not allow the train to enter the state.

While many state governments are operating special trains for migrant laborers, the Bengal government has not taken any such step.   Home Minister Amit Shah has written a letter to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday.  In this letter, Shah said, 'The State government is not getting support to help migrants reach home.  The Bengal government is not allowing migrants to reach the train in the state.  Not allowing trains to come to West Bengal is an injustice to migrant laborers. This will create more difficulty for them.

Referring to the 'Shramik Special' trains being run by the central government to facilitate the transportation of migrant laborers from different parts of the country to different places, Shah said that with the help of the center, more than two lakh laborers were transported to their state.  In the letter, Shah said that migrant laborers present in West Bengal are also eager to reach home and the central government is also providing train services.  But we are not getting the expected support from West Bengal.  The state government is not allowing the train to reach Bengal.  This is an injustice to the trapped laborers in Bengal.  This will create more difficulties for them.
