Let us tell you that in 2019, ‘Uri- The Surgical Strike’ was released for only one day on July 26 on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Day in 500 theaters of Maharashtra.
About the film ‘Uri’
‘Uri- The Surgical Strike’ was directed by Aditya Dhar. This was Aditya’s directorial debut. Vicky Kaushal played the role of Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in the film. Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, Kirti Kulhari, and TV actor Mohit Raina were also seen in important roles. The story of the film was based on the theme of responding to the Uri attack in 2016.

In 2019, the film was released on 11 January and was astounded by its banging presence at the box office. ‘Uri’ had an opening of about 8 crores and collected a collection of 35 crores in the first week, the lifetime collection of around 244 crores.
