Uttar Pradesh: Modi Mask Stall has Selected the Mask in the One-District One-Product

In the past, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself came on TV wearing a mask and then appealed to the people that the use of a stall mask can protect it from the corona. This appeal took effect across the country.  The Gamcha (stall) of Barabanki in Uttar Pradesh is selected in the state government's livelihood plan 'One District-One Product', but the view has changed after Modi's appeal.

Ubaid Ansari of Shahabpur, who started the production of Modi's pot in Barabanki district, says it is made with viscose cloth.  The district administration had even made the distribution, despite the lockdown, till now there has been a lot of sale of Modi stall masks.  Ansari hoped that after the lockdown, its sales would definitely increase.

Apart from Ansari, businessmen of Zaidpur have also started the production of stall masks.  There are three thousand powerloom units in the district, in which about 50 thousand weavers are getting employment.  About five lakhs of marquetry (prevalent) are prepared in a day, which is supplied to various parts of the country including Bareilly, Delhi, Mumbai and Afghanistan, Turkey and Gulf countries.  At present, Modi is reviving the industry in Gamcha district.

People involved in the handloom business started preparing a gamut of the same design, which was tied by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  Named it Modi Stall or Modi Gamcha.  As soon as the demand for the masks was increasing,  The condition was that there would be a lot of production of Modi Gamcha.  Now not only is the scarcity of masks in the district over, but Modi's masks are being used in abundance.  District Magistrate of Barabanki, Dr. Adarsh ​​Singh said that the work was done to promote the selected product in the One District-One product by starting the free distribution of the stall masks.
