Uttar Pradesh Finance and Medical Education Minister Suresh Khanna has been home quarantined on Wednesday. Recently, following the instructions of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Suresh Khanna was constantly inspecting different medical colleges in the state. Two days ago Suresh Khanna went to visit the Emergency Ward of Meerut Medical College, where he had also met some patients, but the patients whom he had asked about their health have turned out to be Corona positive, after which he has quarantined himself as a precautionary measure.
On Wednesday, the minister left the office after getting information in this regard from Meerut Medical College Administration while handling work in the office hall of Vidhan Bhavan. Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that following the protocol, he has home quarantined himself. Since he had gone to Meerut on 1 June, he gave his sample 4 days later on 5 June to detect the corona virus infection and will remain at home till the test report comes. The minister said that at the moment, he would do the necessary work from home.
According to the minister, he spoke to the patients admitted in the emergency ward of Meerut Medical College by applying mask while following the physical distance, whereas he did not went to the hospital of Covid-19. It is noteworthy that Khanna, being the Minister of Medical Education, has inspected many medical colleges in the state in recent times.
