In last 24 hours in UP, 12 more people died of COVID-19 infection. In addition, 685 new cases of infection were reported. Additional Chief Secretary of the Medical and Health Department Amit Mohan Prasad said on Monday that over the last 24 hours 12 more people have died in the state. Due to this, the number of people who died due to this virus has reached 672 so far.
He was informed that a total of 685 new cases of corona infection were reported in the state during the last 24 hours. So far, 15506 patients have fully recovered and have gone home and the recovery percentage has been recorded 66.86 percent. At present, the total number of cases under treatment of COVID-19 infection in the state is 6650.
Prasad said that on Sunday a new paradigm was established in the case of sample testing and the number crossed 22000. On Sunday, 22378 samples were tested in the state, whereas, 707839 samples have been tested in the state so far.
Talking about coronavirus in the whole country, then the spread of this virus is not slowing down in the country, where on one hand new coronavirus cases are constantly increasing, and on the other hand, the numbers of people who are getting cured by defeating coronavirus are also increasing rapidly, but along with this, the people who are losing their lives due to corona, are also increasing.
According to the latest information released by the Union Health Ministry, 19,459 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country in the last 24 hours i.e. 8 am Sunday to 8 am Monday and now the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 548318.
