I am very proud of what Canada is doing. Not every country is running or hiding in the corner. He said that the United States and the international community must understand the Chinese Communist Party that we expect them to work under the rules.
He further said, 'Apart from the United States, you know how many other countries trust China? None, zero. But they are scared. China is the second-largest economy. China uses its economic succession to threaten other countries, and many other countries of the world are afraid to stand against them. However, Australia stands against them (China). India is against them. Canada stands against them. Huawei is an important issue. We've got to convince European countries that they shouldn't be scared. We'll take the lead, but the world needs to join together.
During the interview, Senator Kennedy attacked the Chinese Communist Party, saying that the Communist Party of China under President Xi Jinping was acting like a bunch of thugs. And the US President Donald Trump needs to stop it.
