UPSC Recruitment: Vacancy Released for Deputy Central Intelligence Officer Posts

Union Public Service Commission has announced recruitment to the posts of Deputy Central Intelligence Officer.

Union Public Service Commission has announced recruitment to the posts of Deputy Central Intelligence Officer. There are 27 vacancies in the Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, for which this recruitment has been removed. A DCIO will have to supervise the maintenance and operation of the communication network/equipment, among other tasks, overseeing the maintenance and operation of cybersecurity / forensic devices. However, if selected, the candidate can be given posting anywhere in the country. Interested candidates can apply for these posts till 16 January.

Eligibility

Candidates having the following educational qualifications can apply for these posts-

– Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (BE or B.Tech.)

– B.Sc. (Engineering) in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Computer Technology / Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology / Software Engineering.

– Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

– Graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering by Associate Membership of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (AMIETE).

-MSc Physics and also have Electronics / Telecommunication as a subject.

-After BSc in Physics, be MCA.

-MSC (Information Technology)

– MSc (Computer Science)

– MSc (Software)

Age-

The age limit for the candidate has been set at 35 years. Relief of 5 years has been given to SC and ST candidates in the maximum age limit and 3 years to OBC candidates.
