On Saturday, police arrested five persons in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, while betting on the IPL match. Senior BJP leader also includes in these persons. Let us know that from March 23 to May 12, the people of the country have been submerged in betting on the IPL matches.

According to the news agency, Kotwali charge Inspector Srikrishna Kumar Tiwari raided the Motilal Market on the basis of information on surveillance team, where five youths got caught while betting on IPL match. In which 18 thousand 120 rupees, five mobile phones, and some other belongings were recovered from them. The names of arrested bookmakers have been identified as Bhupendra Choudhary, Dharmendra Chaudhary, Komal Singh, Satish Chaudhary, and Brajesh.

The BJP Leader Bhupendra Chaudhary was the President of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and the District General Secretary of BJP. He is also the president of the District-Sales Co-operative Society these days.

Senior Superintendent of Police Satyarth Aniruddha Pankaj said that there will be no exemption to betting and operating any other illegal activity in the district, even if he is a person related to any political party
