Police have arrested four accused of gang-rape, from Kanpur. However, the main accused Rohit is absconding now. The police are constantly searching for him. On Friday, the teenager filed a case of gang-rape in the police station.
According to the case, on Thursday night, she went out of the house with her cousin sister. Four youths present there on the poultry farm were kidnapped her and taken her to the garden and raped her. The accused had escaped before the teenage family members came. Initially, instead of registering a case, first police was about to settle down the case.
The police had said that the victim did not talk of rape in the statement. However, after the strictness of the SSP, the police filed the case. The police have also arrested them after the name of the unknown four people is revealed in the investigation. SSP Dr. Sunil Kumar Gupta said that four unknown accused were identified in the probe. Their arrest has also been done. The main accused will be arrested soon.
