Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav alias Tikku Yadav was shot dead in Kanakpur village of Maharajganj police station in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that unknown miscreants carried out this incident today.
Locals brought him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. It is being told that the deceased was the president of Samajwadi party of Lohiawahini Gaushighanj area.
The police officials reached the spot and according to the initial information the mutual disputes are being told behind the incident. The local leader of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) was shot dead in Sonpur village of Jethwara police station area of Pratapgarh district in Uttar Pradesh. Superintendent of Police Anand said that the advocate and Vishwa Hindu Parishad President of Kund tehsil area Om Mishra Pranav (38) was going to Pratapgarh district headquarters in the afternoon on Monday by motorcycle. The attackers, who were already there, shot him dead near Sonpur village.
