Jawa Motorcycles launched Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two in India in November last year. Both bikes also got a good response in the market. Bookings for these two bikes have been closed for September 2019. Now it has been reported that the delivery of these bikes will start in the month of March.
The founder of Classic Legends Anupam Thareja confirmed in a recent tweet that the delivery of Jawa and Jawa 42 will start from the fourth week of March. The company is anticipating monthly sales of approximately 7,000 units in the first year. The online booking for these two bikes was started at the time of launch.
Afterwards, Jawa confirmed that booking for motorcycles was received by September. Although the company did not provide the exact number of bookings received. However, according to the demand, the number is expected to be high. Those who want delivery after September, they book their motorbikes by visiting Jawa motorcycle dealers.
Founder also said in the tweet that till the third week of March, 100 dealerships would be set up in Jawa motorcycle nationwide. If we talk about delivery, once the launch, the Java dealers will call customers a week before giving full deposits. Jawa and Jawa 42 were launched in November last year at 1.69 lakhs and 1.55 lakhs respectively. Both of these prices are of the ex-showroom, Delhi.
Both motorcycles have a 293cc Single Cylinder Liquid Cooled Engine. These engines generate power of 27bhp and pickup torque of 28Nm. There is a 6-speed gearbox for transmission here.
