The final match of ICC Under 19 World Cup 2020 was played between India and Bangladesh. In this match, the Bangladesh team won the World Cup for the first time by defeating India by 3 wickets. The Indian team's dream of winning the World Cup title for the fifth time was broken after the loss to Bangladesh. Bangladesh captain Akbar Ali was adjudged Player of the Match while Yashasvi Jaiswal was adjudged Player of the Tournament.

Batting first, the Indian innings completely collapsed in front of the Bangladesh bowlers and did not play even the full 50 overs. Team India's batsman was all out just for 177 runs in 47.2 overs. Yashaswi Jaiswal scored an 88-run knock for India.

Bangladesh had to score 178 runs to win, but after the 41st over, due to rain, the target was reduced to 170 runs in 46 overs. Bangladesh won the match in 42.1 over with 3 wickets remaining.
