Two terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter between security forces and terrorists in the Qasbayar area of district Pulwama. Confirming the killing of both the terrorists, IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar said that among the slain terrorists, Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization commander Yasir Pare, while the other Pakistani terrorist Farqan was involved.
Congratulating the security forces on the killing of both the terrorists, he said that the search for these two notorious terrorists was being done for a long time. IG of Kashmir said that Yasir was an IED expert. He has made IEDs many times to carry out crimes in Kashmir. Due to his death, the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization operating in Kashmir has suffered a lot.
The security forces, taking their positions immediately, first asked the terrorists to lay down their arms, but when terrorists did not agree and they started firing in response.
Meanwhile, another team of security personnel started evacuating the common people living nearby. When the terrorists did not lay down arms despite repeated requests, the security forces killed both the terrorists using heavy weapons. Weapons have also been recovered from the encounter sites.
