Vu has launched two new variants of the Vu Cinema Smart TV series in India – the 32-inch HD resolution and the 43-inch full-HD range. VU introduced three sizes in ultra-HD resolution earlier this year, but now the company has brought smart TVs with new features in smaller and more affordable sizes. The sale of new variants of VU Cinema TV will start on Flipkart from 23 June.
New variants have been listed on Flipkart. The 32 inch Vu Cinema TV is equipped with 1366×768 pixels HD LED screen and 43-inch variant will come with 1920×1080 pixels full-HD screen. Both TVs have a built-in Chrome cast and Apple Airplay with Dolby audio for a 40 watt sound bar-style speaker system. The 32 inch variant of the TV is priced at Rs 12,999, while its 43-inch variant will be available for Rs 21,999.
Interestingly, VU is introducing some core features of the expensive 4K Cinema TV range in its new affordable variants, due to which the range will attract more entry-level customers. Its 32 inch and 43-inch variants are priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 21,999, due to which this TV will give a tough competition to rival companies like Xiaomi and Realme in this market segment. We were very impressed with the sound quality of the VU Cinema TV's 50-inch 4K variant and expect these affordable models to offer customers a similar experience.
Let us tell you, OnePlus can also launch affordable smart TV in India in July, which will be priced below Rs 20,000. It is expected that VU will also get a tough competition after this launch.
Let us tell you, the Vu Cinema TV range was first launched in January, starting at Rs 26,999. Till now the smart TVs of this series were available in 43 inch, 50 inch and 55-inch variants. All variants came with a 4K screen, in addition to this, there was also Dolby Vision format with HDR content support.
However, now the company has brought some of the major features of the VU Cinema TV range for the small screen and affordable screen size TVs, which include 40 watts front-firing built-in soundbar, and Android 9 Pie etc. Apart from this, you will also get the support of Google Assistant through voice remote.
