Debina Bonnerjee, who became famous after playing the role of Sita in the Ramayana, was in depression in lockdown. She spoke about her anxiety attack, depression and stress on a YouTube channel. Debina started the video by acknowledging that she is in a better and privileged position than most people. "I live in a nice house with a big balcony, I am not stressed about work because I have earned enough, I am living with the closest people in my life. So, if someone can experience my kind of comfort and privilege, then I can understand that so many people, who are experiencing the same situation, must pass.'

Like most of us, when the lockdown was announced, Debina was excited to do the housework. She found herself immersed in household chores that it was temporary and that time would eventually pass. Nevertheless, her excitement soon waned as expected. Debina said, after a week or two, I started feeling pain in my body. Soon she became constant and it became impossible for me to do anything or concentrate, feeling like I had an internal illness. The news of the sudden demise of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor plunged me into a hole from which I was unable to get out.

For a month she felt strange, unwell, and she had strange thoughts. Meditation gave her the courage to talk to her family, after which she consulted with a doctor immediately.
