The body was found by the name of Afreen (25), a resident of Shastri Park, in Karawal Nagar in East Delhi on Sunday. She was a student of B.Ed. On September 25, she came out of the house by asking to go to the tutor. She was missing since then. Afreen's mobile was also closed. On Wednesday, Afreen's sister and younger brother identified the body. The family has accused the tutor of killing Afreen. The police is taking the tutor in custody and questioning him. A case of murder and erasing of evidence is already registered at Karaval Nagar police station.
According to police, Buland Masjid also used to stay along with the Afreen family, lived in Shastri Park area. The family consists of father Rafiq Ahmed, mother Rabia Begum, two brothers Danish and Aamir, plus a married sister. They have a business in Tents. Afreen was enrolled in B.Ed in a college in Haryana after graduating from DU's Mata Sundari College. Police told that during school days, a youth living in Afreen Shastri Park used to go for tuition. He later started teaching quietly at the tutor's coaching center. The family did not have a clue about it.
On Sunday, Afreen's body was recovered from the drain in a sack from Karaval Nagar. The dead body arrived, but the family could not identify the body due to the badly rotten condition. The family accused the tutor of killing Afreen. The police is investigating the matter by questioning him.
