Try Street-Style Misal Pav Recipe at Home

Misal Pav is an easy-to-make traditional Marathi recipe, which tastes great. It is a perfect snack as well as you can have it as lunch and dinner. You can make this recipe without any hard work with the help of easily available ingredients. If guests come to your house suddenly and you want to cook something good but you have less time, then you can win everyone's heart by making this spicy recipe.

Ingredients of misal pav recipe:

4 cups sprout bean

1 tsp salt

2 tablespoons garam masala powder

2 tsp turmeric

1 tbsp ginger paste

2 tsp cumin seeds

1 ½ onion

4 cups of water

2 tablespoons coriander powder

4 tablespoons red chili powder

1 tbsp ginger paste

1 tsp mustard

2 tomatoes

2 tsp refined oil

For Garnish:

1 cup sev namkeen

½ cup chopped coriander leaves

8 lemon wedges

8 Pav bread

How to make misal pav recipe:

 Step 1:

To make misal pav at home, first cut and keep aside onion, tomato and coriander leaves on a chopping board.

Step 2:

Now place a pan on medium heat and heat 2 tablespoons refined oil in it. When the oil gets hot, add cumin seeds and mustard seeds when it starts to crackle then add some onion, turmeric powder and fry the mixture on a low flame for 4 minutes.

 Step 3:

Now add some sprouted bean and ginger-garlic to the mixture. Cook this mixture on low flame until all the ingredients are well roasted. Add coriander powder, garam masala, chili powder and tomatoes and cook until a soft mixture is found. Now add 4 cups of water to this pan and cook till the sprouted beans are soft enough.

Step 4:

Now finally serve the missal recipe with lemon wedges, coriander leaves and serve hot with pav. You can also serve this recipe by decorating with butter cube, save or salted as per your choice.
