Shahi paneer is a delicious and easy recipe that you can make on festivals or any special occasion. This is a great dish for North Indian parties. It can be eaten with rumali roti, butter naan and cumin rice. Here is a recipe of Shahi paneer in restaurant style that you can easily make at home.

Ingredients:

500 gm Paneer

1 inch ginger

6 medium tomatoes

1 teaspoon red chili

1 teaspoon garam masala powder

1 pinch of salt

2 onions

3 green chilies

3 Green Cardamom

6 tablespoons Ghee

4 tablespoons tomato ketchup

1 cup of water

For Garnish:

A handful of coriander leaves

2 tablespoons fresh cream

For main dish:

1/2 cup yogurt

1 cup milk

How to make Shahi Paneer Recipe:

 Step 1:

To make Shahi Paneer, cut ginger and coriander separately with onion, green chilies, tomatoes. Now take yogurt in a bowl and beat it.

 Step 2:

Set the pan on medium heat and heat three tablespoons of ghee in it. Add chopped onion, ginger, green chili and green cardamom and keep it for 4 to 5 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and cover the lid and let it cook for 10 minutes.

 Step 3:

Now add curd and cook for 5 minutes, after that add one cup of water and cook for one minute. When gravy is made, allow it to cool to room temperature. When it cools down, put it in the jar of the mixer and blend it until it becomes fine and keep it aside.

 Step 4:

Heat the remaining ghee in another pan and add the prepared gravy to it, add red chili powder, garam masala powder, tomato ketchup or sauce and salt.

 Step 5:

Cook until the gravy thickens, now add Paneer pieces and milk. Now cook it for 3 to 5 minutes. When the gravy is being prepared, cut the paneer into pieces. Take two cubes and grind them for garnishing.

 Step 6:

Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves and grated paneer leaves. Serve hot with rumali roti and naan.
