Uttar Pradesh Chief Health Secretary Amit Mohan Prasad said on Saturday that the total number of corona virus cases in the state has reached 2455. The total active cases are 1756 in the state and the number of discharged patients is 656. So far 43 people have died due to this virus in Uttar Pradesh. He told that corona virus cases have been reported from 64 districts, out of which 6 are such that where there are no active cases now.

Amit Mohan Prasad said that pool testing has been done by 11 laboratories even yesterday. There were 1607 samples tested in 331 pools out of which 23 pools have been found positive. He told that vaccination for children had stopped in the state, which we have started from today. The Health Secretary informed that 3356 samples have been sent to laboratories yesterday and 4431 samples have been tested in the laboratories yesterday.

On the matter of laborers, Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Home Avnish Awasthi said that the first special train for Uttar Pradesh has left Nashik with about 845 workers. It will reach Uttar Pradesh tomorrow. He also said that the UP CM discussed to initiate industrial activities and gave instructions to give a new dimension. The Additional Chief Secretary said that today the Chief Minister will hold a meeting with the nodal officers of all the districts at 6 pm and video conferencing with the district officials and senior police officers at 8 pm.
