International Olympic Association (IOC) President Thomas Bach has reiterated once again that it is too early to take any decision on the postponement of the Tokyo Olympics in the current situation. But he admitted that the committee is considering several options. This does not include postponing games. Because there are still 4 months left in the games. In such a situation, the IOC will take any decision based on the advice of the World Health Organization and its taskforce.

According to a joint statement by Formula One and FIA (International Automobile Federation), the staff took this decision to ensure the health and safety of the players participating in the championship, given the situation arising out of the Covid-19 worldwide.

Nevertheless, the IOC believes that at present, the situation is so uncertain that no decision can be taken.
