Earlier, 118 players had entered the field for India in the Rio Olympics. India expects medals in badminton, shooting, boxing, hockey, wrestling and javelin throw.
Along with this, India would also like to recover from the disappointing performance of the Rio Olympics. After winning record 6 medals in the 2012 Olympics, India got only two medals in the Rio Olympics.
11,000 athletes from 205 countries are participating in the Tokyo Olympics. The Tokyo Olympics will run from 23 July to 8 August. Tokyo Olympics will see 339 events in the next 17 days.
