TMC Wins All Three Seats in West Bengal

The result of the by-elections in three assembly seats in West Bengal has been done. TMC candidates were declared victorious in all three seats. The TMC candidate from Kaliaganj won by 2304 votes. At the same time, Trinamool Congress (TMC) candidate Pradeep Sarkar won the Kharagpur Sadar Assembly by-election by 20,811 votes.

Mamta Banerjee's Trinamool Congress is seen occupying three assembly seats in West Bengal. In West Bengal, TMC has won Kaliaganj and Kharagpur Sadar. At the same time, Karimpur is ahead in the seat. Two of these seats are such that TMC is winning after two decades.

The bypolls for Kharagpur Sadar, Kaliaganj and Karimpur have to decide the electoral fate of 18 candidates. In this election, 75.34 percent of the more than seven lakh voters in West Bengal had cast their votes.

There has been a triangular fight in the elections in West Bengal. There has been a strong electoral struggle between the Congress-CPI (M), Trinamool and BJP. According to the Election Commission, the voting percentage in the three by-elections in West Bengal was 75.34 percent.
