Three Terrorists, Including Jaish-e-Mohammed’s Top Commander Fauji Baba, Killed in Kashmir

On Wednesday, security forces killed three terrorists, including the commander of Jaish-e-Mohammed, in Pulwama area of ​​South Kashmir. Police said that one of those killed was an expert in the IED blasts, he also participated in the Afghan war, he was also the mastermind of that car bombing plan in Pulwama, which was foiled by the security forces on May 28. IG Kashmir Vijay Kumar said, "The slain commander has been identified as Abdur Rahman , who participated in the Afghan war and was active in Kashmir since 2017."

Addressing the media, IG Kashmir said that three Jaish terrorists including an IED expert were killed in an encounter in Kangan village of Pulwama today. He said that the terrorist commander was from Multan in Pakistan and he was active in the valley for a long time. He was also active with the terrorist organization during the suicide attack on CRPF convoy in Pulwama in 2019 but was at the lower rank. The zonal police chief said that the identity of two other terrorists is being ascertained and it appears that both are local. According to the police, this is a big blow to the terrorist organization Jaish and the organization had three IED specialists, but now only two are left. A senior police officer said, "There are two more Jaish terrorists identified as Waleed Bhai and Lambu Bhai, both foreigners and specializing in making IEDs."

IG Kashmir said that he has also identified Jaish chief Abdullah Rashid Ghazi, who works in the areas of Pulwama district and hides in the jungles. Security forces say that they have been attacking in the past against militant groups, futher IG Vijay Kumar said, "The number of terrorists killed this year is 75 and most of them were commanders." It was also informed by the police that they have identified the over ground workers by categorizing them into A, B and C categories and stern action is being taken against them.
