Three Indian Navy Warships Arrived in India with Oxygen and other Medical Assistance

Naval ship INS Trikand reached Mumbai port carrying 40 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen in cryogenic containers. Similarly, INS Airavat reached Visakhapatnam with relief supplies from Singapore and INS Kolkata has also reached Mangalore Port.
Three Indian Navy Warships Arrived in India with Oxygen and other Medical Assistance

Continuation of help from foreign countries is continuing in India's war against the second wave of Corona. In this episode, three warships of the Indian Navy reached India with oxygen-filled containers, oxygen cylinders, and medical-related goods. In view of the corona epidemic, the Indian Navy is engaged in bringing medical aid to the country through Operation Samudra Setu-2.

INS Trikand reached Mumbai

Navy ship INS Trikand arrived in Mumbai port on Monday carrying 40 metric tonnes of liquid oxygen in cryogenic containers. Similarly, INS Airavat reached Visakhapatnam with relief supplies from Singapore. 3,898 oxygen cylinders, 10,000 rapid antigen test kits, 450 PPE suits, oxygen concentrators and 20 metric tons of empty cryogenic tanks have arrived in India through INS Airavat.

Apart from this, INS Kolkata of the Indian Navy has also reached New Mangalore with 54 metric tons of medical oxygen, 400 oxygen cylinders, and 47 oxygen concentrators. Due to the lack of oxygen during the Corona epidemic, the Indian Navy has launched a campaign to bring Oxygen containers and other medical equipment from abroad.

This expedition has been named Operation Samudra-Setu. A total of 9 naval warships are engaged in this operation. INS Talwar had already reached Mangalore from Bahrain with liquid oxygen on 5 May. The second wave of Corona in India is wreaking havoc. In such a situation, many countries around the world are supporting India in India's war against the Covid epidemic.

Several countries like America, Germany, Australia, France, Singapore, New Zealand, Sweden, Kuwait, Ireland, Belgium, Romania, and Mauritius are providing medical aid to India to fight Corona. The Indian Navy is carrying out the responsibility of bringing medical treatment from other countries to India.
