In view of the rising havoc of Corona, a provision has been made for 'unique punishment' for those who do not wear masks in public places in Gwalior. Those found violating COVID-19 prevention guidelines and masks in public places in Gwalior will have to work as volunteers in hospitals and police posts for 3 days.

In Gwalior 64 new corona infected were reported on Sunday

In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, 64 new corona infected were reported on Sunday and the number of infected has increased to 528. This is the highest figure of corona cases recorded in a day so far. In view of this, this order has been issued that if one does not follow the applicable guidelines for prevention of coronavirus spread in public places then the person will have to work as Corona Warriors for three days.

An order in this regard was issued by District Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh after a meeting with the officials regarding the 'Kill Corona' campaign. He said, 'We have started working in this direction from today itself. If someone does not follow the COVID-19 guidelines, they will have to perform the duties of the Corona Warriors. They have to work as volunteers for three days in hospitals and police check posts."

11,458 survey teams deployed across the state

The 'Kill Corona Campaign' was started on 1 July. Under this, door-to-door survey is being conducted for 15 days across the state to locate COVID-19 patients. A total of 11,458 survey teams are deployed across the state for door to door survey. These teams are equipped with non-contact thermometers, pulse oximeters and necessary protective gear. It should be noted that the number of corona infected in Madhya Pradesh are 14930 and so far 608 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus in the state.
