Direct to Home Service, which is a DTH service provider company D2H, has introduced a multi-TV scheme, under which two TVs in the consumer house can run on the same connection. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) had left the decision on DTH service providers whether they would like to charge NCF charges on multiple connections. In this regard, D2H has come up with a new policy.

Under this policy, consumers will have to pay 50 rupees NCF charge according to each connection in their house. This service of D2H is cheaper than other DTH service providers. Both the Airtel Digital TV and Tata Sky are expensive compared to the NCF service D2H. Airtel Digital TV takes the NCF charge of 80 rupees for every other connection.

While there is a separate policy for Tata Sky. Sun Direct has not yet announced for the Multi-TV charge. According to the TRAI's new rule, consumers have to pay a network capacity fee of Rs 130 for a single connection, in which users have got 100 SD channels and 50 HD channels. Apart from this, consumers have to pay extra for other channels.

From now on, those who use two TV connections at home, those D2H Subscribers will be given an additional NCF charge of Rs.50. Under the NCF service, users will get access to mirror channels on both TV connections. However, consumers also get the option of watching the next side channel on both TVs. After which consumers will be able to watch their favorite channels on both the TVs. For this, consumers have to charge the channel separately in addition to the NCF charge.
