The US on Thursday accused the World Health Organization (WHO) of doing politics by ignoring early Coronavirus warnings by Taiwan.  President Donald Trump has previously threatened to discontinue funding to the institution, accusing WHO of favoring China and keeping the Coronavirus dark in the world.  However, WHO is denying the allegations leveled against Trump.  Indeed, Taiwan's foreign ministry has accused the WHO of not sharing its country's corona cases and treatment methods with its member countries.

President Donald Trump has become the aggressor by threatening to stop funding the WHO fighting the global epidemic on the front lines.  Critics say that Trump's sudden threats against the WHO appear to be a political conspiracy to find the goat of a foreign bull, as Trump is currently trying to control covid-19 and not put much effort into it.  There is a lot of criticism about 15,000 people who have died in the US from Coronavirus infection.  Trump himself said in January that the US had "complete control" of the corona virus and had predicted that the disease would pass by April after the temperature rose.

Elaborating on the aggression of Trump against the WHO, the Ministry of External Affairs said the WHO took too long to issue a warning about covid-19 and favored China.  The ministry questioned why the body did not take cognizance of Taiwan's information.  A ministry spokeswoman said the US was "deeply troubled as to why Taiwan's information was kept hidden from the global health community as seen in the WHO's January 14, 2020 statement that it had said  there is no sign of infection in humans.

Trump said, "WHO has once again chosen politics rather than public health."  The spokesperson criticized the WHO for ignoring Taiwan's information since 2016.  The spokesman said that the WHO's move wasted both 'time and life'.  Taiwanese diplomat Shen Sheen-jin said that despite being located close to China and having close ties, the virus caused only five deaths in Taiwan.  It has warned the WHO about the spread of human-to-human infection on 31 December itself.
